Portable air purifier
Helps reduce airborne particles in the room it serves.
Benvek supplies and installs energy recovery ventilator (ERV) systems for homes and commercial spaces across India. An ERV brings filtered outdoor air indoors and removes stale air while recovering energy. We plan each installation around your floor layout, occupancy and available ceiling space.
Designed in Europe. Manufactured in China.
Two air streams. One energy exchange.
Your ERV renews indoor air while recovering energy from the air leaving your space.
Bring the outdoors inOutdoor air is filtered before supply to your rooms.
Recover energyHeat and some moisture transfer across the core membrane.
Let stale air leaveA separate exhaust path carries indoor air outdoors.
Concept illustration, not an installation drawing. Recovery and filtration depend on the selected model and operating conditions.
An ERV brings filtered outdoor air into a building and removes stale indoor air while transferring heat and some moisture between the two air streams. It complements air conditioning; it does not replace cooling. Equipment selection depends on airflow, occupancy, outdoor conditions and available installation space.
More questions and answers →Cooling, filtering and replacing air are different jobs. A useful device can solve one problem while leaving another untouched.
Helps reduce airborne particles in the room it serves.
Controls room temperature and can remove moisture while cooling.
Removes air and pollutants near a bathroom or kitchen source.
Can provide natural outdoor-air ventilation when conditions suit.
| Solution | Particle filtration | Outdoor-air exchange | Ventilation energy recovery |
|---|---|---|---|
| Portable purifier | Yes, within its rated room coverage | No, for recirculating models | No |
| Typical split AC | Filter-dependent | Usually no | Usually no |
| Local exhaust fan | Usually no | Exhaust; replacement air required | Usually no |
| Open windows | No built-in filtration | Yes, condition-dependent | No |
| Filtered ERV system | Selected-filter dependent | Planned supply and exhaust | Yes, model and condition dependent |
An ERV combines planned outdoor-air exchange with energy recovery. Pair it with appropriate cooling, filtration and source control for your space. It does not replace an air conditioner, a cooking hood or every air-cleaning need.
Comparison covers typical standalone equipment; integrated and specialist products may offer additional functions. Actual performance depends on sizing, configuration, installation and maintenance.
General guidance: US EPA — Air cleaners and filters; US EPA — How outdoor air enters buildings; US DOE — Whole-house ventilation; US DOE — Energy recovery ventilation. These sources explain system principles and do not endorse Benvek.
A split or VRV AC recirculates the same room air in a closed loop — the AC itself does not provide outdoor-air ventilation, and portable purifiers only trap dust inside the same room.
A split or VRV AC pulls warm room air in, cools it, and pushes it back out. No fresh air enters; no stale air leaves.
Portable air purifiers only filter the same trapped room air — they cannot lower CO2 or expel VOCs.
With windows shut, bedroom CO2 rises through the night — linked in indoor-air research to heavy mornings and poor rest.
An ERV exchanges stale indoor air with filtered outdoor air while recovering cooling energy — the engineered way out.
Weather-proof louvre draws outdoor air while blocking rain, insects, and coarse debris via G4 pre-filter.
H13 grade HEPA (3M) + activated carbon filtration, rated at up to 99.98% one-time PM2.5 removal; photon hydroxylation sterilization rated up to 99.9% (manufacturer ratings, MC-GN booklet).
Washable polymer membrane transfers coolness and humidity between outgoing stale air and incoming fresh air without mixing streams.
Positive pressure clean air enters bedrooms & living zones while stale CO2, bathroom odors, and VOCs are exhausted outdoors.
Centralized fresh-air network installed above false ceilings before gypsum closure. Food-grade antibacterial HDPE ducting distributes purified fresh air to every bedroom and living zone while extracting stale air from return zones.
Already moved in? Wall-mounted and floor-standing ERVs install through a neat core-cut in an exterior wall, with no false-ceiling demolition or ductwork.
From family homes to shared spaces, ERV ventilation is planned around the people using the building.
Whole-home ventilation, with room-by-room supply and return routes.
Plan fresh-air coverage across living areas and bedrooms.
Select equipment and duct routes around available ceiling and service space.
Plan outdoor-air supply for customers, staff and changing footfall.
Coordinate ventilation for the intended area with the project’s specialist design team.
Size classroom ventilation around occupancy and daily schedules.
Plan ventilation for active use, occupancy peaks and operating hours.
Bring outdoor air to seating areas, alongside separate kitchen extraction where required.
Dual DC inverter motors • Smart app & voice control

Ideal for completed apartments, bedrooms, and executive cabins where false ceiling ductwork is not feasible. Wall-mounted • no ducts required.

Ceiling-concealed above false ceilings and paired with Benvek air distribution for whole-home fresh air. Graphene nanocore total heat recovery (sensible + latent).

High-volume fresh air handling for offices, clinics, schools & gyms, with smart app control and photon hydroxylation sterilization.

| CLAIM | SOURCE & WHAT IT COVERS | CONDITIONS & BOUNDARY |
|---|---|---|
| PM2.5 removal up to 99.98% | MC-GN booklet; the unit's six-layer filter section, one-time pass | Rated at the unit. Room air quality also depends on airflow, room size, occupancy and runtime. |
| Heat recovery above 80% (86–97% depending on model) | MC-GN booklet per-model table (MC-150-GN to MC-2000-GN) | Model-level rating. Installed recovery varies with airflow balance, ducting, temperature and humidity. |
| H13-grade HEPA filtration | Booklet filter-stack specification (3M H13 high-efficiency screen) | Component-level specification for the listed filter configuration. |
| Sterilization rate up to 99.9% | Booklet photon-hydroxylation module description | Module-level manufacturer rating; not a whole-room or whole-home claim. |
| Anti-microbial ducting | Duct material specification: silver-ion inner layer on HDPE radial ducts | Material-level property of the duct lining, not a whole-system hygiene guarantee. |
Start with room use and occupancy, then coordinate the ERV location, outdoor connections, duct routes and room terminals. Check ceiling space and service access before finishing work. For existing homes, available routes help determine which installation options are practical.
Compare the complete scope: selected unit, filtration, controls, ducts, terminals, electrical provisions and site work. Floor area alone is not enough to select a system. Share your floor plan and city for a project-specific installation quotation.
Allow access to filters, the recovery core and fans. Follow the selected model’s instructions for cleaning and replacement; outdoor dust and operating hours affect service needs. Ask for the maintenance requirements when choosing your system.
They perform different jobs. An ERV exchanges indoor and outdoor air while recovering energy; a portable air purifier recirculates room air through its filters. Selection depends on the ventilation and particle-filtration needs of the space.
Cost depends on the selected unit, design airflow, number of rooms, duct length, filtration, controls and site work. Share a floor plan and project city so Benvek can prepare a quotation with the equipment and installation scope identified.
Follow the selected model’s maintenance instructions. Filter inspection and replacement needs depend on outdoor dust, operating hours and filter type. Keep access to the filters, core and fans, and ask Benvek to confirm the maintenance plan for your installation.
Benvek ERV systems are designed in Europe and manufactured in China. Benvek coordinates system planning, supply and installation for projects across India.
Yes. An ERV supplies filtered outdoor air and removes stale indoor air while recovering energy. An air conditioner handles cooling. The equipment, airflow and controls should be coordinated for your building.
Benvek plans ERV installations for villas, bungalows, apartments, shops, schools, indoor play areas and coffee shops. Hospital applications need area-specific assessment by the project’s specialist ventilation team.
Share the floor plan, project city, floor area, room use, expected occupancy, available ceiling depth and construction stage. Benvek reviews the layout before confirming equipment and installation scope.
